High-Voltage Safety and Protective Equipment
These are essential prerequisites for all maintenance tasks, ensuring personal safety throughout the process:
10kV/35kV High-Voltage Voltage Detector: Used to verify the absence of voltage before work begins; audible-visual alarm types are preferred; dielectric withstand tests must be performed every six months.
High-Voltage Insulating Gloves & Boots: Voltage ratings must match the system voltage; must be worn throughout the operation; use of damaged or expired gear is prohibited.
High-Voltage Grounding Cable & Operating Rod: Used to short-circuit and ground the three phases after power-off to prevent accidental re-energization; requires flexible copper wire with a cross-section ≥25mm².
High-Voltage Insulating Clamps & Operating Poles: Used for installing/removing high-voltage fuses and manual opening/closing operations; length must comply with voltage class requirements.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kit: Includes hard hat, safety harness, safety goggles, and arc-flash face shield; mandatory for outdoor work at heights.
Standard Mechanical Maintenance Tools
Used for cleaning the equipment exterior and for tightening or maintaining mechanical components:
Standard Electrician's Tool Set: Insulated screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, torque wrenches, and hex key sets; torque wrenches must meet Class 2 accuracy or higher.
Cleaning and Maintenance Tools: Lint-free wiping cloths, brushes, vacuum cleaners, and anhydrous ethanol; used to remove accumulated dirt and dust from the surfaces of insulating components.
Specialized Lubricants: High/low-temperature resistant silicone-based grease; used for lubricating transmission joints and bearings in the operating mechanism; the use of standard general-purpose grease is prohibited.
General Measuring Tools: Vernier calipers and feeler gauges; used to measure mechanical parameters such as contact opening distance, contact over-travel, and linkage clearances.
