What Is The Production Lead Time For Indoor High-voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers?

Production Lead Times by Product Type
In-stock models: Standard 12kV models with core components pre-stocked; orders of up to 10 units can be assembled, tested, and shipped in as little as 3 working days.
Standard models: Mainstream models such as VS1 and ZN85 without special customization requirements; the production cycle is generally 10–15 working days, extending to a maximum of one month during peak seasons.
Lightly customized models: Involving only adjustments to parameters like mounting dimensions or secondary circuit interfaces; the production cycle extends to 15–20 working days.
Highly customized models: Involving requirements such as special insulation ratings, designs for high-altitude/harsh environments, or structural modifications for high currents (above 2000A); the production cycle requires 30–60 working days, with extremely complex projects potentially exceeding 90 days.

Key Factors Affecting Production Lead Time
Order volume: Small-batch custom orders (1–5 units) take approximately 20 days to deliver; for orders exceeding 5 units, the delivery time is determined through negotiation based on production line scheduling.
Production period: Production capacity is strained during peak electricity demand seasons (periods of centralized grid tendering), generally extending delivery times by 5–10 days compared to the off-season; for most manufacturers, the maximum delivery time during peak season does not exceed one month.
Supply chain support: The need to procure long-lead-time components-such as vacuum interrupters with special specifications or high-precision instrument transformers-adds an extra 4–8 weeks to the production waiting time.
