PT‑Arrester Integrated Handcart

A voltage transformer and a surge arrester are usually installed separately. Juhui Power Equipment Co., Ltd. combines them on one cart with the PT-Arrester Integrated Handcart. This cart matches KYN28 and KYN61 armored withdrawable switchgear, and its chassis is interchangeable with the breaker handcart in the same cabinet.

A voltage transformer and a zinc oxide arrester share the same frame, providing voltage monitoring and overvoltage protection in one unit. The integrated structure can save cabinet space. The epoxy-cast transformer provides stable insulation performance and low partial discharge. A high-voltage current-limiting fuse is installed beside the transformer. In the event of a transformer short circuit, the fuse operates to protect the PT. The zinc oxide arrester responds quickly to lightning and switching overvoltage, helping protect the primary equipment inside the cabinet.

The chassis and secondary plug are also interchangeable with those of the breaker handcart in the same cabinet. This makes replacement and service more convenient. A five-prevention mechanical interlock prevents withdrawal under live conditions and helps prevent incorrect operation. The complete cart can be withdrawn for transformer calibration, arrester testing, and fuse tube replacement. Production can follow customer drawings, and a trial order can start from one set.

Three voltage classes are available: 12kV (10kV system), 24kV, and 40.5kV. The voltage transformer accuracy classes are 0.2, 0.5, and 3P, with customization available. High-voltage fuse rated current options are 0.5A and 1A. Arrester models include YH5WZ-17/45, YH5WZ-34/85, and YH5WZ-51/134. Matching switchgear includes KYN28A-12, KYN28A-24, and KYN61-40.5.

The cart uses a manual screw mechanism for roll-in and roll-out operation. A five-prevention mechanical interlock prevents the cart from being withdrawn under live conditions. The PT-Arrester Integrated Handcart provides bus voltage measurement, relay protection, and insulation monitoring. The arrester provides protection against switching and lightning overvoltage, while the fuse protects the PT from short-circuit faults. It is suitable for distribution sites requiring voltage monitoring and overvoltage protection, as well as switchgear applications requiring lightning protection.

The PT and arrester share one frame, with voltage monitoring and overvoltage protection handled within the same cart. A high-voltage fuse protects the PT, while the arrester provides protection against lightning and switching overvoltage. During selection, confirm the voltage class, arrester model, and fuse rated current. Production can follow customer files or specifications.
